Accepted into the MSA (Manitoba Society of Artists) Juried Exhibition 2011. Painting " Well Grounded " became more to me than a tree trunk and root system. I realized the ancient trees in the forest nurture a multitude of species which otherwise might not survive. It reminded me of how the state of one can effect the whole.

I gather inspiration from the diverse beauty that Canada offers by getting out on the Trans Canada Trail and hiking through the many grasslands and forests and kayaking the crystal clear lakes.
